Some of these projects a fresh web-builds, some have involved fixing and renovating existing sites. Art Films is a leading supplier of art documentaries and experimental films to universities and colleges throughout the world, with catalogue of over 5000 films available for sale through their site.
However, the site, built in fits and starts over many years, was akward, error-prone and failing to deliver the desired customer experience. Working closely with Art Films, we have been able to salvage what is best about the site and rebuild and revive what's broken. Following a successful upgrade to the Circular website management platform, Art Films are embarking on a series of ambitious upgrades over the coming months.
After more than 50 years as an award winning photographer, a website for Maggie Diaz was long overdue.
The new site showcases her exiquisite photographic work in a series of animated flash galleries and promotes her continuing exhibition schedule. A sales page lets Maggie and her team sell prints directly to buyers.
The VS For Men site showcases the range of men's grooming devices from Vidal Sasoon. This site was built in collaboration with Sydney-based advertising agency, The Brand Shop, and includes detailed product information, interactive elements and a promotions framework to collect market research data.
We also provided other digital marketing material, including flash banners and EDM's, that were used in conjuction with regular promotions and giveaways.
The 'How Green Is My Server' site was part of a combined campaign from Commander, VMWare and HP promoting the energy efficient combination of HP's range of BladeSystem c-Class servers, VMWare's virtulisation software and Commander's installation expertise. The site was constructed around a quiz for server administrators, evaluating their knowledge of best-practice server management practices.
Creative strategy on this project was led by Sydney advertising agency, The Brand Shop. Orange Media provided all development, including database capturing of registered users and flash development of the quiz.

Daniela Miszkinis is an emerging, Melbourne-based artist who creates visceral and expressive abstract mixed-media works. Her practice explores metaphysical themes of conflict, contra posing for instance, tight fine line work with the spilling characteristic. The www.miszkinis.com website is designed to provide maximum exposure to the visual impact of her artworks, backed up by an effective content management system.
A bold and innovative experiment in user generated content, In Our Future is a speculative, creative digital work in which users can join and invent their own timelines of the future. Built in partnership with established film maker Rob Connolly, a beta version of In Our Future was launched in late 2008.
Marshmallow is a four piece London-based band who have released two albums and toured extensively throughout Europe and America. Their site features content managment and a bulk email system to keep in contact with fans.
Vegie Cars is an all-Australian business helping environmentally conscientous drivers convert their diesel cars to run on straight waste vegetable oil. Vegie Cars sells a range of information booklets and DIY conversion kits through their content managed website.
Orange Media maintains a close relationship with Vegie Cars in the development of their online strategy, especially in regards to eCommerce and search engine optimisation.
Based in The Netherlands, Kieswijs provides career advice and life coaching to young people. Full flash and entirely in Dutch, this site is a good example of Orange Media's flexibility and adaptability.
The website for Melbourne-based progressive electronic group Koshowko employs a whimsical, yet arresting, design, reflecting the unique style and sound of the group. An early Orange Media site, the Koshowko site is now self-managed by the band.
David Yetton is a long-established New Zealand based musician. This site provides David with a platform to promote his new music and videos.
The Dandenong Ranges Steiner School (DRSS) is a kinder to class 6 Steiner school based in the Dandenong Ranges on Melbourne's eastern fringe. The DRSS website is an important tool for promoting the site to prospective families and the wider community.
This project was done pro-bono as a way of giving back to the local community.
